The tale of a small crew of sailors who caught a mermaid and hold her prisoner. Once freed, she kills them all... well, almost all of them.

 

The story is heavily inspired by my own fears and how I view them. I'd been thinking about this story for roughly a year before I wrote it. I wanted to try my hand at horror/ dark folklore style comics for a while. Learning the pacing and language of this style of story was new for me, but I think I executed it well. My main style inspiration was Mike Mignola.
